About the role
This role applies technical knowledge to determine design requirements for large projects involving line of business, technical developers, vendors, and clients. You will work closely with business partners to define strategies for technical solutions, determine requirements, and develop functional designs based on the analysis of business needs, objectives, and existing systems infrastructure. The position drives and participates in the design, development, and implementation of large and complex enterprise-wide applications, often using new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Builds trust and confidence with clients to ensure the bank delivers an excellent client experience during technically complex implementations.
- Works closely with business partners to define strategies for technical solutions, determine requirements, and develop functional designs based on line of business needs, objectives, and existing systems infrastructure.
- Drives and participates in the design, development, and implementation of large and complex enterprise-wide applications, often using new technologies.
- Works closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements and functional designs are accurately translated into working technical designs, including testing plans and scripts that serve customer needs.
- Oversees project delivery and execution in line with agreed timelines, driving participants to realize new revenue at the earliest opportunity and meet client expectations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of applicable work experience in the industry.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in treasury services.
- Strong knowledge of Treasury Payments, Receipts, and Information Reporting products, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing demands.
- Strong communication skills to work with clients and internal partners to deliver clear requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
Qualifications
- Client implementation experience with Treasury Products is highly desired.
- Prior experience managing technology projects at Bank of America.
- May manage projects, including responsibility for project budgets.
- Works under minimal supervision on enterprise-wide projects requiring creative solutions.
- IT degree preferred or substantially equivalent experience.
