About the role

Treasury Associates at Insurance Administrative Solutions (IAS) support the business process outsourcing services for insurance carriers. The role is based in Clearwater, FL.

Responsibilities

• Send daily/monthly issue files to numerous banks.
• Research outstanding checks for all companies.
• Place stop payments on checks and issue replacement checks when necessary.
• Send ACH debit and credit files to numerous banks.
• Pick-up ACH returns from numerous banks daily and process.
• Reconcile several bank accounts from various banks for all clients, if required.
• Positive Pay (paying or returning checks).
• Produce first and second notices for outstanding checks, all follow-up.
• Verify remote deposits from Premium Accounting and file until destroyed.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Up to 2 years’ proven Banking Deposit Operations experience or equivalent.
• Treasury/Accounting experience preferred; knowing the difference between debits and credits required.
• Insurance background preferred.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
• Accurate 10-key by touch and moderate Excel skills required.
• Ability to adapt and respond to different types of people and tasks.
• Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively and efficiently.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to be punctual and dependable.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This role will begin as fully onsite to support learning and team integration. As proficiency is demonstrated, hybrid work opportunities may be introduced, dependent on business needs and department practices.
