Key Responsibilities
- Own daily cash positioning and liquidity monitoring across company accounts.
- Maintain company’s cash flow forecasts in collaboration with finance and operating teams.
- Reconcile forecasted cash flows to actual results, investigate variances, and proactively communicate impacts to treasury and finance leadership.
- Support funding and repayment decisions under the company’s credit revolver by identifying upcoming cash needs, timing considerations, and potential liquidity risks.
- Independently coordinate the issuance, amendment, renewal, and termination of letters of credit and bonds with external banking partners.
- Act as the primary treasury contact for internal teams requesting LCs or bonds, guiding them through requirements, timelines, and documentation.
- Maintain complete ownership of LC and bond tracking, including remaining facility capacity, cost of security, and forecasting future costs.
- Apply a strong working knowledge of LC and bond structures, terms, and risks to ensure accurate execution and risk awareness.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with the company’s banking partners, serving as the primary operational point of contact.
- Handle bank account administration, including openings, closures, signatories, and ongoing KYC/compliance requests.
- Coordinate directly with banks to resolve transactional issues, service inquiries, and operational challenges.
- Cook up the integration of bank accounts with ERP and invoice processing services.
- Aid in evaluating bank performance, fees, and services in a resource-efficient environment.
- Prepare and maintain concise, decision-useful treasury reporting for management, including cash balances, liquidity metrics, debt, and LC/bond exposure.
- Ensure treasury data is accurate, timely, and clearly communicated.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and insights to support business decisions, audits, and senior management requests.
- Execute treasury activities in accordance with internal controls, policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Identify and implement practical process improvements, automation opportunities, and documentation enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline required.
- 2–5 years of experience of hands-on responsibility in corporate treasury, with additional finance, accounting, or banking is a plus.
- CTP preferred, CFA or CPA is a plus.
- Experience developing and maintaining financial reports and metrics.
- Experience with Sage or similar accounting software.
