About the role

As a Senior Treasury Analyst, you will play a critical role in leading Capital Group’s global cash management activities for corporate holdings, including daily cash positioning, account transfers, domestic and international payments, and funding for accounts payable and payroll. You will analyze global liquidity needs, develop transaction workflow plans, and recommend money movement strategies that account for banking practices, payment methods, deadlines, foreign exchange considerations, and country-specific requirements. In this highly visible role, you will partner with Treasury leadership, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounting, banking partners, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely execution of cash activity and provide insightful Treasury analysis and reporting for management and oversight committees. You will also serve as a subject matter expert on payment and cash transaction matters, helping maintain compliant procedures, guide team members, and identify opportunities to streamline and strengthen Treasury operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global cash management activities for corporate holdings, including daily cash positioning, account transfers, domestic and international payments, and funding for accounts payable and payroll.
  • Analyze global liquidity needs, develop transaction workflow plans, and recommend money movement strategies considering banking practices, payment methods, deadlines, foreign exchange, and country-specific requirements.
  • Partner with Treasury leadership, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounting, banking partners, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely execution of cash activity.
  • Provide insightful Treasury analysis and reporting for management and oversight committees.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on payment and cash transaction matters, maintaining compliant procedures and guiding team members.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and strengthen Treasury operations.
  • Research transaction details, interpret cash movement, identify unexpected trends or variances, and translate findings into clear reporting for senior leaders.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  • Review payment transactions, reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4–7+ years of relevant Treasury, cash management, finance operations, or banking experience.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international payment methods, electronic banking systems, cash positioning practices, and country-specific banking requirements.
  • Skilled at analyzing daily corporate cash needs, assessing funding requirements across entities and accounts, and recommending thoughtful money movement strategies.
  • Sound judgment and precision in time-sensitive payment activity, including account transfers, payroll funding, accounts payable funding, and foreign exchange-related considerations.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to research transaction details, interpret cash movement, and identify unexpected trends or variances.
  • Effective communication with cross-functional partners, including Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounting, management, and external banking contacts.
  • Strong attention to detail in reviewing payment transactions, reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where priorities can shift, requiring ownership, adaptability, discretion, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Pay

Southern California Base Salary Range: $111,920–$179,072. In addition to a highly competitive base salary, you will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, Capital’s annual profitability bonus, and a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
