Treasury Analyst II
About the role
Performs moderately complex analysis and other work assignments in support of Treasury funding activities while developing technical expertise within the Treasury discipline. This role will report to the Head of Funding. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's liquidity risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
Responsibilities
- Performs moderately complex analysis and work assignments for departmental functions including Funding/Liquidity
- Assists in the execution of all debt and equity capital markets transactions, including the issuance of long-term debt, preferred equity, and share repurchases
- Assists in the execution of all short- and intermediate-term funding transactions
- Provides analysis to support the production of daily cash flow projections, including developing assumptions and establishing effective controls for monitoring the accuracy of the projections
- Aids in monitoring and managing intraday liquidity, funding sources, and contingent borrowing capacities
- Works cross functionally with business partners to help manage and optimize collateral
- Provides analysis to support the establishment and maintenance of funding and liquidity risk KRIs and early warning indicators
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics required
- Typically requires up to 2 years of Finance related experience. In lieu of Finance experience, a college degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is preferred
- Strong analytical, modeling, and database skills with a passion for process improvement
- Demonstrated ability to learn and become proficient in emerging technologies and tools to create process efficiencies through automation
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple assignments and demonstrate initiative
- Demonstrated proficiency in critical thinking, leadership, business acumen, relationship building and teamwork
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Pay
The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
