Responsibilities
- Direct the custody, investment, and monitoring of monies while ensuring accurate balancing of cash activity with accounting records.
- Administer the collection of revenues, including property taxes, vendor payments, and other receipts, with close attention to timeliness and compliance.
- Prepare and distribute billing documents, manage delinquent accounts, establish payment arrangements, and support legal processes.
- Partner with financial advisors to coordinate borrowing activities, debt issuance, and related financing documentation.
- Oversee the company's insurance coverage, maintain claims reporting procedures, and help manage risk-related administrative processes.
- Provide backup support for payroll functions to help ensure continuity and accuracy in payroll operations.
- Lead departmental staff, assign daily work, and maintain efficient office procedures that support the organization's objectives.
- Work closely with accounting and outside agencies to align financial activities and resolve operational matters.
- Maintain organized financial records and apply sound analysis to support reporting, cash oversight, and treasury decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business
- 3-5 years of experience in financial management
- Must have experience working with and managing a team
- Any experience in finance (budgeting, forecasting, etc) a plus
