Tray Line Attendant

Primary Location: Burnet Campus, Department: Food Services, Shift: Day, Schedule: Full‑time (40 hours/week), FTE: 1, Employee Status: Regular.

Responsibilities

• Schedule includes an every other weekend, and every other holiday rotation
• Assemble patient meal trays according to diet orders and meal tickets
• Set up, stock, and load meal carts for delivery to patient care areas
• Verify meal accuracy and ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff
• Support other Food Services functions as assigned

• Ability to stand, walk, push carts, and lift supplies throughout the shift

Qualifications

• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent

Pay

Expected Starting Pay Range: $16.75 - $20.27 per hour. Starting pay is based on experience, skills, and equity; exceptions may apply for highly qualified candidates. Additional pay (e.g., shift, on‑call, or weekend differentials) may apply. Annual pay may vary based on FTE status.

Schedule

Full‑time schedule (40 hours per week). Shift: Day. Includes every other weekend and every other holiday rotation.
