Tray Aide

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Tray Aide to join our dietary team in a skilled nursing facility in Blountstown, Florida.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble meal trays according to prescribed diets and portion guidelines
• Review meal tickets to ensure accuracy and compliance with special dietary needs
• Deliver meal trays to residents in a timely and courteous manner
• Assist residents with tray setup as needed
• Collect and return trays to the kitchen after meals
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, tray line, and dining areas
• Follow all food safety, infection control, and facility policies
• Communicate effectively with dietary staff, nursing staff, and supervisors regarding resident needs or concerns

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous food service or healthcare experience preferred, especially in long-term care or SNF settings
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
