Various flight instructor and private pilot (PPL) positions available across multiple locations in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Provide flight instruction for Private Pilot License (PPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument (CFII), and Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI).
- Conduct ground school and flight training for students at various stages of pilot certification.
- Prepare students for checkrides and proficiency tests.
- Offer specialized training, including tailwheel, high-performance, complex aircraft, and mountain flying.
- Provide flight reviews (BFR), Instrument Proficiency Checks (IPC), and advanced endorsements.
- Develop personalized training plans for students.
- Teach ground courses for private, instrument, and commercial pilot certifications.
Requirements
- FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate, with additional CFII and/or MEI preferred for many roles.
- Private Pilot License (PPL) or higher, depending on the role.
- Experience in flight instruction, including ground and in-flight training.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and training standards.
- Ability to tailor instruction to individual student needs.
- Gold Seal CFI certification is a plus for some positions.
- Experience with specific aircraft types or training scenarios (e.g., tailwheel, multi-engine, mountain flying) may be required for specialized roles.
