Gallo Mechanical is looking for a Mechanical Construction Project Executive to join our high performing travel team. As a Project Executive, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for multiple large-scale mechanical construction projects and project management teams. This role requires extended time travelling to mission-critical sites. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, client satisfaction, and team development across assigned projects. The Project Executive serves as a senior leader within the organization, driving business growth, risk management, and execution strategy aligned with Gallo Mechanical's core values and performance standards. This role reports to our Vice President of Carolina Operations RESPONSIBILITIES: Executive Project Leadership Provide oversight and direction for multiple complex mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeoutLead and mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and support staffEnsure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standardsEstablish project execution strategies, staffing plans, and risk mitigation approaches Financial & Operational Oversight Maintain accountability for P&L performance across assigned projectsReview and approve budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and change ordersMonitor job cost performance, labor productivity, and procurement strategiesIdentify and proactively mitigate financial and operational risksClient & Business DevelopmentDevelop and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, and key stakeholdersParticipate in pursuit strategy, preconstruction efforts, and executive-level presentationsSupport business development initiatives and strategic growth plansEnsure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business Preconstruction & Strategy Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams on major pursuitsReview contract terms, scopes, and risk profiles prior to project awardProvide executive input on value engineering and constructability strategies Safety & Quality Leadership Champion Gallo Mechanical's safety culture and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standardsPromote continuous improvement in quality control processes and field execution Talent Development & Culture Mentor and develop high-performing project management teamsFoster accountability, collaboration, and professional growthSupport succession planning and leadership development initiatives Requirements Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)10-15+ years of progressive experience in mechanical construction project managementProven experience managing large-scale commercial, healthcare, industrial, or mission-critical mechanical projectsDemonstrated leadership of multiple project teams and oversight of multi-million-dollar portfoliosStrong financial acumen and experience managing project P&LExcellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skillsProficiency in construction management software (Procore, Primavera, Microsoft Project, etc.)Ability to for extended periods to support mission-critical projects and job sites Benefits At Gallo Mechanical, our foundation is built on the core values of family, service, and exceptional performance.
