Travelling Periodontic Manager

About the role

As the Orthodontic Manager, you will support a Specialty Team by providing proficient, trustworthy dental services and care to patients. You will play an instrumental role in the guest experience for Ideal Dental, reporting directly to the Specialty Regional Manager. Your work will help align with the organization's mission, vision, and values.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a smile and maintain a positive attitude.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments, handling scheduling changes and communicating them to patients and staff.
• Work to maintain full schedules and ensure smooth office schedule flow.
• Collect balances and verify insurance when needed.
• Present accurate patient treatment plans, determine insurance coverage and patient financial responsibility, assist with insurance pre-authorizations, and review finance options with patients.
• Review upcoming schedules and audit accounts as needed.
• Coordinate patient check-in and check-out.
• Perform all duties relating to supporting the office.
• Oversee the schedule of staff, doctors, and patients.
• Motivate the Endodontic Team to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly revenue goals are met.
• Manage Endodontic front office and back-office staff.
• Actively pursue continuous learning and professional development of the Endodontic Team.
• Complete reports as needed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Perform all other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Orthodontics experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of dental management experience preferred.
• Experience with treatment plans required.
• Insurance verification experience required.
• Digital practice software experience.
