Traveling Underground Supervisor Telecom

Discover a more connected career at TelCom Construction. As a Traveling Telecommunications Supervisor, you'll supervise and implement the company's construction program, ensuring each job site adheres to construction rules, practices, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations
• Complete assigned projects
• Communicate and lead job foremen and crew members
• Organize materials, equipment, and labor
• Verify locates, materials, and billings
• Provide all required job reporting
• Complete as-builts and redlines
• Participate actively in and take responsibility for safety, maintenance, production, and personnel-related initiatives
• Supervise utility construction crew leadership experience
• Work with telecommunication MSA contracts
• Good computer skills, specifically database software and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Out-of-town travel and on-call availability
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record, Class A CDL license preferred

Requirements

• Age 18 or older
• Authorization to work in the US for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional)
• Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it
• Pass a DOT physical exam for a valid medical card
• At least 3 years of related work experience
• Previous construction experience, preferably within the telecommunications industry
• Routinely work with arms above shoulder level at heights, in confined spaces, and in remote locations
• Bend, stoop, stand, walk, and lift up to 55 pounds
• Operate vehicle & heavy machinery occasionally

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it

Pay

The wage range for Traveling Underground Supervisor Telecom is $75,000.00 - $95,000.00.

Schedule

Out-of-town travel and on-call availability required.
