Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer
Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you’ll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, and transvaginal sonograms
- Scan small parts including thyroid, breast, and scrotum
- Conduct ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations
Requirements
- National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
- BLS Certification
- Prior travel experience
- Graduate of an accredited AMA school
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)

- Monday - Friday
- 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Holiday coverage if necessary
