Traveling Superintendent - Multifamily

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead and manage multiple commercial and industrial construction multifamily projects across locations. The Traveling Superintendent will ensure projects are built safely, on schedule, on budget, and to quality standards while coordinating crews.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction operations for commercial and industrial projects.
• Oversee scheduling, trades, logistics, materials, and equipment.
• Enforce safety standards and OSHA compliance.
• Partner with project teams to maintain schedules, budgets, and quality.
• Review plans, specifications, submittals, and change orders.
• Track project progress and documentation using Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools.
• Perform site inspections, quality control, and punch list management.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure contract compliance.
• Prepare daily reports, logs, permits, and inspection documentation.
• Travel to job sites and provide hands-on supervision through all project phases.

Requirements

• 4+ years of field superintendent or construction superintendent experience on multifamily ground-up projects.
• Proven construction experience with site operations, scheduling, safety, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Experience with Procore and/or Bluebeam and familiarity with producing RFIs, submittals, and daily reports.
• Working knowledge of change order processes, estimating basics, and site cost control.
• Comfortable traveling frequently and staying overnight as required; reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• OSHA certification (10- or 30-hour) preferred or willing to obtain.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.

$90,000 - $120,000 (Based on Experience)
