At Gibian Construction we are seeking a Traveling Superintendent who thrives on complexity and confidently leads commercial construction projects. In this dynamic position you will oversee day‑to‑day field operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high‑quality standards. You will serve as the key point of contact for owners and clients, coordinate subcontractors, and proactively solve challenges to keep progress smooth and efficient. Your leadership will maintain the trust and transparency valued by our clients, and you will be supported by resources that respect your experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day‑to‑day field operations across multiple commercial construction projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
- Coordinate and direct subcontractors, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project goals efficiently.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and owners on‑site, maintaining clear and open communication channels.
- Proactively identify potential issues and implement solutions to prevent project delays and maintain quality standards.
- Oversee the implementation of safety protocols, ensuring a secure work environment for all team members.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, keeping everyone informed and aligned.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with industry regulations and company standards, upholding our commitment to excellence.
Qualifications
- Experience in leading and managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project schedules.
- Proven track record of implementing and enforcing safety protocols on construction sites.
- Strong communication skills to act as the primary on‑site contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Experience in maintaining accurate records of project activities, including daily logs and progress reports.
- Ability to facilitate effective communication between all stakeholders to ensure project alignment and collaboration.
Compensation
Competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $125,000 per year.
