Traveling Retail Merchandiser Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Complete category resets
• Build displays and end caps
• Rotate and date-check product
• Place and correct tags
• Ensure shelves meet store and planogram standards
• Identify out-of-stock conditions
• Organize backstock and discontinued items
• Work directly with store leadership during project initiatives
• Use company technology to track progress, capture photos, communicate issues, and complete required reporting
• Assist in training new teammates
• Support basic scheduling needs
• Provide general in-store operational oversight

Requirements

• Frequent travel with regular overnight hotel stays

Qualifications

• Comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• Age 18 or older
• Ability to perform physical work of moving, bending, standing, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Interest in traveling within and outside of home state, with overnight hotel stays
• Reliable transportation to and from work location
• 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Experience leading and training people
• Ability to use smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with clients, customers, and team members
• Motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Ability to work independently and build successful teams
• Able to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
