Traveling Retail Merchandiser

About the role

You will provide in-store merchandising support to retailers to meet shoppers’ needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. This is a traveling position that requires regular travel as a primary requirement of the role; travel may require up to 50% or more of your time, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Build in-store displays and end caps
• Reset shelves and rotate product
• Track inventory to maximize sales opportunities
• Interact with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• Perform physical work including moving, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Maintain a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
• Work independently while also collaborating with team members

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Reliable transportation to and from work locations
• Willingness to travel within and outside your home state, including overnight hotel stays
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a bias for action and results
• Ability to work independently and build successful teams
