Traveling Retail Merchandiser

About the role

Provide in-store merchandising support to retailers to meet shoppers’ needs. Responsibilities include building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. This is a traveling position that requires regular travel as a primary requirement of the role, with travel up to 50% or more of the time.

Responsibilities

• Build in-store displays and end caps
• Reset shelves with product rotation
• Track inventory to maximize sales opportunities
• Travel regularly within and outside your home state, including overnight hotel stays
• Interact with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• Perform physical work including moving, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Maintain a safety-first mentality in a retail environment

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Reliable transportation to and from work locations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Motivated self-starter with a bias for action and results
• Successful team-building skills
