Traveling Retail Merchandiser

About the role

You will provide in-store merchandising support to retailers to meet shoppers’ needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. This is a traveling position that requires regular travel as a primary requirement of the role. Travel may require up to 50% or more of the time.

Responsibilities

• Build in-store displays and end caps
• Reset shelves with product rotation
• Track inventory to maximize sales opportunities
• Interact with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• Perform physical work including moving, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Travel within and outside of your home state, including overnight hotel stays
• Work independently with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Reliable transportation to and from work locations
• Ability to travel up to 50% or more of the time, including overnight stays
• Comfortable performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Successful team-building skills
