Traveling Retail Merchandiser

About the role

Provide in-store merchandising support to retailers to meet shoppers’ needs. Responsibilities include building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. This is a traveling position that requires regular travel as a primary requirement of the role; travel may be up to 50% or more of the time.

Responsibilities

• Build in-store displays and end caps
• Reset shelves and rotate product
• Track inventory to maximize sales opportunities
• Travel regularly within and outside your home state, including overnight hotel stays
• Interact with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• Perform physical work involving moving, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Work independently with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Reliable transportation to and from work locations
• Comfortable traveling with overnight stays
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Motivated self-starter with a bias for action and results
• Successful team-building skills
