Traveling Retail Merchandiser

About the role

You will provide in-store merchandising support to retailers to meet shoppers’ needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. This is a traveling position that requires regular travel as a primary requirement of the role; travel may be up to 50% or more of the time and can include overnight hotel stays.

Responsibilities

• Build in-store displays and end caps

• Travel regularly within and outside your home state
• Interact with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• Perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Comfortable performing physical work: moving, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation to and from work locations
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Ability to work independently and build successful teams
