Traveling Retail Merchandiser

About the role

You will provide in-store merchandising support to retailers to meet shoppers’ needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. This is a traveling position that requires regular travel as a primary requirement of the role; travel may be up to 50% or more of the time and includes overnight hotel stays.

Responsibilities

• Build in-store displays and end caps
• Reset shelves and rotate product
• Track inventory to maximize sales opportunities
• Travel regularly within and outside your home state, including overnight stays
• Interact with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• Work independently with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Able to perform physical work: moving, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation to and from work locations
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with clients, customers, and team members
• Motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Ability to work independently and build successful teams
