Traveling Retail Merchandiser

About the role

Provide in-store merchandising support to retailers to meet shoppers’ needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. This is a traveling position that requires regular travel as a primary requirement of the role. Travel roles may require various degrees of travel up to 50% or more of the time, including overnight hotel stays.

Responsibilities

• Build in-store displays and end caps
• Reset shelves with product rotation
• Track inventory to maximize sales opportunities
• Interact with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• Perform physical work including moving, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Maintain a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
• Travel within and outside of your home state, with overnight stays

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Reliable transportation to and from work locations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong bias for action and results
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Motivated self-starter with successful team-building skills
