Traveling Registered Nurse

About the role

Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and make a meaningful impact in healthcare, especially in underserved communities, through travel staffing opportunities. Practices within the standards of nursing practice and adheres to ethical guidelines. Requires compliance with background checks and drug screening. Contracts are 14 weeks with options to extend or transfer to other Sanford sites.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver personalized patient care.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, to plan, implement, and assess care delivery.
• Providing care across all phases—from preventive services and health maintenance to diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Coordinating patient assessments, education, triage, and various nursing interventions within the scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in the practicing state or multistate licensure if applicable.
• At least one year of nursing experience and six months of travel experience.
• Ability to work night shifts, with a minimum of 60 miles from the assigned location.
