Traveling Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver personalized patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Provide care across all phases—from preventive measures and health maintenance to diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Coordinate care, perform patient assessments, educate patients, triage, and execute various nursing interventions.
• Practice within the full scope of nursing standards and adhere to legal and ethical guidelines outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and professional codes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Hold an unencumbered RN license in the practice state or multistate licensure if applicable.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience and six months of travel nursing experience.
• Ability to live at least 60 miles from the work location.
• Maintain required competencies and certifications.

Additional Details

Work 12-hour rotating shifts, totaling 36 hours weekly.
