Traveling Project Specialist

About the role

The Project Specialist supports project teams in the construction/telecom industry, playing a crucial role in ensuring projects move smoothly from start to finish. This is an entry-level position designed for organized, detail-oriented individuals looking to build a career in project management.

Responsibilities

• Aid in setting up new projects and maintaining organized project files.
• Support project documentation, including permits, scheduling updates, and progress tracking.
• Help review and prepare project paperwork for final closeouts.
• Learn to track project activity and support accurate reporting and billing.
• Provide assistance to other project team members as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Support company policies, procedures, and safety initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to read and understand project instructions, work orders, and reports.
• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, word processing, PDFs). Google Workspace experience is a plus.
• Ability to stay organized, manage tasks, and work independently with minimal guidance.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Work Environment

Pay

The wage range for Traveling Project Specialist is $22.00 - $27.00.
