Responsibilities
- Attend project meetings
- Meet with customers/clients to discuss bid status, present proposals, negotiate bids, and present/solve problem issues
- Perform job walks to observe any field conditions that may affect the construction, impact the prospective bid, and/or pre-construction designs and build services
- Ensure that quality control meets Company standards
- Represent the best interests of the Company with all parties involved during the execution of assigned projects
- Manage the change order process including performing estimates when needed, conferring with Superintendents to recommend solutions, discussing changes with customer, proposing pricing, and negotiating final change order prices
- Act as a liaison between the Company, owners and any other parties involved as necessary to discuss project status, determine client satisfaction, and take immediate action to respond to any problem areas
- Establish a professional relationship with the customer and interface constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews
Requirements
- Above average knowledge of construction practices and trades
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents, The Building Code, and ADA requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PROCORE other tools used for communication and presentation purposes
- MUST have the flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required
- MUST have dependable transportation and valid driver's license
- Experience in LEED Construction is a PLUS
- Experienced managing multiple construction projects and professional staff
- Possess the ability to develop and cultivate new business relationships and opportunities
- Present a positive, professional image and have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to work independently, be self-directed and able to take the initiative in seeking efficiencies of processes
