Traveling Project Controls Specialist I
About the role
As a Project Controls Specialist, you’ll partner closely with project and project management teams across active job sites nationwide, supporting cost control, forecasting, earned value, and schedule performance from project award through closeout. You’ll be embedded with field teams, providing insight into budgets, productivity, risks, and opportunities—helping teams make informed decisions, stay aligned, and deliver complex construction projects safely, on time, and on budget.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of construction project controls experience (field-facing experience preferred)
- Solid understanding of construction cost control, scheduling, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort working in construction/project management systems (Power BI a plus)
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively to active project sites
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset

Benefits
Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $109,000 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
