Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist Medical Technician Medical Assistant to join our team at our Baton Rouge, LA site for a full-time position. This position involves traveling both locally and across the country to provide occupational medicine services to various clients.

Responsibilities
- Ability to work independently

- Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical information
- Ability to effectively present information, both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to use computer and telephone
- Knowledge of current diagnostic tests, their functions, and normal results

- Must adhere to the service expectations of CORE, LLC
Duties
- Adheres to all CORE, LLC policies and procedures
- Adheres to departmental Quality Assurance procedures
- Performs temperature checks
- Performs COVID nasal swab tests
- Processes CDC questionnaires
- Obtains basic history, and medical information, and takes vital signs
- Administers intramuscular injections under authorization and supervision of physician in accordance with State of Louisiana law and prevailing CORE, LLC agreements and protocols
- Performs collection of vital signs, visual acuity and color testing, urine specimen collection following DOT regulations and/or chain of custody requirements, safe venipuncture, urine dipstick testing, and 12 lead EKGs
- Performs audiometric screening
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
- Current National Phlebotomy Certification (strongly preferred)
- Current CPR/BLS Certification (preferred)
- Pass DISA Background Check
- Pass DISA Drug and Alcohol Screening
- TWIC Card (preferred)
- Basic Orientation Plus from Alliance Safety Council (preferred)
- Class D/Chauffer's Drivers License (strongly preferred or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire)
- Must have available transportation with up to date insurance coverage
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and employees
