Traveling Orthodontics Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Aid the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care.
• Set up treatment areas, sterilize equipment, and keep workspaces tidy.
• Provide patients with oral hygiene education and post-procedure care instructions.
• Support dentists during procedures, anticipating and fulfilling their needs.
• Efficiently manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of prior dental assisting experience.
• 1-2 years of orthodontic experience preferred.
• Must be able to travel.
• Show excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively and maintain a friendly, caring demeanor.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient in dental software and technology.

Requirements

• Michigan residents must provide X-ray training certification upon employment.
