About the Role
42 North Dental is seeking a Part-Time Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant to provide clinical support that facilitates the relationship between patients and dentists, increases the efficiency of delivering quality dental care, and maintains communication between dentists, patients, and administrative staff to ensure a positive patient experience. This role travels to multiple locations: Bloomfield, Groton, Southbury, New Haven, and Enfield. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel are required, with mileage reimbursement provided.
Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment
- Chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures
- Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures
- Provide post operative instructions and patient education
- Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
- Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
- Maintain dental supply inventory
- Perform other related job duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation to travel between locations
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- C.D.A. preferred
- Strong verbal skills
- Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state
- Embrace a positive team approach to patient care
Pay
Hourly Rate: $25 USD - $32 USD
