The Part-Time Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant will provide clinical support to facilitate the relationship between our patients and dentists, increase the efficiency of delivering quality dental care, and maintain communication between dentists, patients, and administrative staff to ensure a positive patient experience. Our Specialty team travels to multiple locations. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel required. Mileage reimbursement provided. This role will travel to the following locations: Groton, Bloomfield, Enfield, and Waterbury. Responsibilities: Greet and prepare patients for treatmentChairside assisting during a variety of dental proceduresExpose radiographs and intra-oral picturesProvide post operative instructions and patient educationPrepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instrumentsMaintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPAMaintain dental supply inventoryPerform other related job duties as assigned Skills & Qualifications: Must have reliable transportation to travel between locationsKnowledge of dental procedures and terminologyC.D.A. preferredStrong verbal skillsPossess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by stateEmbrace a positive team approach to patient care When you join 42 North Dental, you will be part of a team that always has your back and trusts your expertise.
