About the Role

A nuclear medicine technologist collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to prepare and administer radioactive drugs, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety and care protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, administer, and manage radioactive substances
  • Operate imaging and radiation detection equipment
  • Follow safety protocols and hospital policies
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver quality patient care

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology
  • State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years’ hospital experience in nuclear medicine
  • Familiarity with radiation equipment and radioactive drug handling

Preferred Qualifications

  • ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification
