Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operating radiation detection and imaging equipment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radioactive drugs
- Operate radiation detection and imaging equipment
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology
- State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine
- BLS certification (AHA only)
- Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist - Nuclear (RT-N) certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (2 years preferred)
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during the facility's flu vaccination period (declinations not accepted)
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 7:45am - 4:15pm
- Weekend hours: As required by facility
- Call requirements: No call
- Float requirements: As required by facility
- Equipment: Siemens & PET
- EMR: EPIC
- Patient population: Outpatients
