VitalCore Health Strategies is hiring a Full Time Traveling Licensed Counselor for the Southern Regional Juvenile Detention Center sites in Florida. This position will travel throughout the region to Broward RJDC, Collier RJDC, Miami-Dade RJDC, Palm Beach RJDC, St. Lucie RJDC, and Southwest Florida RJDC.

Responsibilities

• Perform individual and group therapeutic interventions as appropriate.
• Perform administrative consults for specialized social services as determined by the specific needs of the Institution.
• Perform specific psychiatric social service work on the Behavioral Health Unit of a Juvenile Detention Facility.
• Assist in planning and implementing the goals and objectives of programs and projects.
• May direct special projects as requested.
• Participate in and conduct in-service programs, as well as assist in the orientation of new staff.
• Provide the necessary preparation of documentation, necessary records and reports.
• Attend training and meetings as required.

Requirements

• Must be a Licensed, Master's Level Behavioral Health Clinician who can assess and make treatment decisions and provide Mental Health treatment including LMHC, LCSW, LMFT or Licensed Psychologist.
• Must be able to travel within region. All travel expenses paid.
• MUST BE LICENSED AS AN LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST. We cannot hire candidates with any other licensures, including intern and provisional licenses.
