Traveling Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

• Certainly operate a variety of heavy equipment including backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, screeners, excavators, and others.
• Proficient in operating machinery such as backhoe, front end loader, excavator, bulldozer, track-hoe, and compactor.
• Operate a heavy-duty forklift as required.
• Absolutely ensure the unit is never operated in an unsafe manner or against Standard Operating Procedures.
• Complete and submit all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking.
• Occasionally perform labor work.
• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and processes and maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

  Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
  • Previous experience operating bull dozers and excavators.
  • Previous construction experience (earthworks) preferred.
  • Willingness to travel 95-100% of the time, with a typical schedule of 6 weeks traveling followed by 1 week home PAID.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
