Position Overview
This position is responsible for working on critical power systems across the U.S. in a role that combines TIG welding with hands-on technical work—ideal for welders who take pride in their work, follow procedures, and are committed to continuous learning and improving every day.
Travel Requirements
- You must have a REAL ID and/or Passport to travel within the U.S. via airplane.
- Extended overnight travel via airplane or vehicle is required for this role 60% of the calendar year.
- You must be located 2 hours or less from a major international airport.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience with TIG Aluminum or Stainless Steel
- Desire to learn, grow, and earn certifications
- Comfortable with overnight travel
- Certification of Welding from accredited school is preferred
- Valid Driver's License
- OSHA 10 is required (may obtain prior to start date)
- Ability to become certified in accordance with the company’s welding procedures
- Demonstrated knowledge of raw materials, welding processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing of goods
- Demonstrated ability to read and write processes
- Physical ability to independently lift, carry or maneuver up to 50 pounds
- Demonstrated ability to communicate (verbal/written) effectively with customers, suppliers and employees
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cooperative and team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability to use computers and shop reference manuals
- Demonstrated knowledge of blueprint reading
