Traveling Electrical Superintendent - Lexington Service

About the role

Traveling Electrical Service Superintendents are needed for Amteck's Lexington KY Service Department. These positions involve leading teams of Electricians and Apprentices at various projects across the country.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of Electricians and Apprentices at various projects across the country.
• Offer long-term opportunities and steady work.
• Provide benefits including a 401k, company vehicle or vehicle allowance, computer or tablet, phone allowance, per diem while travelling, and opportunity for overtime.
• Gain diverse electrical skills through learning from Amteck staff.
• Receive training in low voltage, fire alarm, controls, and instrumentation among other areas.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites.
• A Master Electrician License is preferred.
• Ability to install conduit, wire, and cable systems as required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to install and terminate panels, switchboards, and other electrical equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on faulty circuits, equipment, or systems.
• OSHA10 certification is preferred but not required.
• Conveyor/press experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience supervising a team of 5-10.
