Traveling Electrical Superintendent - Lexington Service
About the role
Traveling Electrical Service Superintendents are needed for Amteck's Lexington KY Service Department. These roles involve leading teams of Electricians and Apprentices at various projects across the country.
Responsibilities
- Lead teams of Electricians and Apprentices at various projects across the country
- Offer long-term opportunities and steady work
- Provide benefits including a 401k, company vehicle or vehicle allowance, computer or tablet, phone allowance, per diem while travelling, and opportunity for overtime
- Learn diverse electrical skills through Amteck’s training programs in low voltage, fire alarm, controls, and instrumentation among others
Requirements
- 10+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites
- Master Electrician License preferred
- Ability to install conduit, wire and cable systems as required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to install and terminate panels, switchboards and other electrical equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on faulty circuits, equipment or systems
- OSHA10 preferred but not required
- Conveyor/press experience preferred but not required
- Experience supervising a team of 5-10
