About the role
The Construction Manager will oversee planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities for solar and wind projects in Michigan and the Great Lakes region.Responsibilities
- Oversees the construction planning effort and development of Installation Work Packages & Inspection Test Plans
- Directs and oversees the development of subcontractor’s scope of work, sequencing, coordination, scheduling, installation, and logistics related to projects
- Maintains productivity tracking and/or earned value for self-perform and subcontractor performance
- Ensures adherence to contract documents and construction schedules
- Solves construction conflicts, delays, and in-field issues
- Supports project manager & project controller forecast self-perform productivity
Requirements
- Solar or Wind market experience preferred, commercial construction experience required
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience leading a team of construction staff, subcontractors, engineers/designers
- Team player, independent, quick learner in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- OSHA 30 Hour certification preferred
- Proactive, positive attitude with commitment to safety
Qualifications
- Must be able to work in the Great Lakes region, including travel
Skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

- $80,000 - $90,000 annually
