Traveling Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Startup, commissioning, and service of commercial HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex HVAC issues
• Perform preventative maintenance and system optimization
• Support mission-critical data center cooling systems
• Complete detailed service documentation and reports
• Deliver exceptional customer service in professional environments
• Travel throughout the United States as needed

Experience & Requirements

• 7+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
• EPA Universal Certification required
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with chillers, hydronic systems, VRF, RTUs, boilers, or mission-critical cooling systems preferred
• Able to travel nationwide
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; able to pass a background check and drug screening

Physical Demands / Work Environment

• This role is primarily field-based and physically active
• Extended periods of physical activity are common while diagnosing and repairing equipment at customer job sites
• Technicians must regularly lift and move items up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds, sometimes in challenging environments
• Frequent exposure to outdoor conditions and varying environments, including mechanical rooms, rooftops, and active construction sites
• Noise levels may range from low to high depending on the job location
