Traveling Commercial Electrical Foreman

About the role

We're a fast-growing commercial electrical contractor expanding our team. We're looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman who takes pride in leading crews the right way - on time, on budget, and built to last. This position requires traveling to out-of-state job sites for the work week, with the potential of also working close to home - as we are a NJ-based company. This is an in-person position.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead electrical crew on active commercial job sites
• Ensure quality installations and adherence to safety standards
• Coordinate with project managers and other trades to keep the job moving
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings
• Identify and resolve field issues before they become problems
• Maintain a productive, accountable job site culture

Requirements

• Proven experience running commercial electrical projects in the field
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Hands-on approach - you lead from the front, not the sideline
• Solid knowledge of electrical installation methods, NEC standards, and jobsite coordination
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must own basic hand tools
• Commercial electrician experience: 5 years (required)
• Management experience: 2 years (required)
• Conduit bending experience: 3 years (required)
• Ability to commute within the Northeastern U.S. (required)
• Work location: In person (required)
