Traveling Assistant Project Manager - Data Center Electrical Construction

About the role

JSET Automated Technologies is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the execution of BMS and EPMS projects. This role offers hands-on experience in construction and controls projects.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications with the project team
• Track subcontractors, vendors, and internal resources against project milestones
• Maintain accurate project documentation in systems like Procore
• Update project tracking tools, spreadsheets, and job costing logs
• Aid with material procurement and resource coordination
• Draft, submit, and track RFIs to support timely resolution
• Attend project meetings and document action items and follow-ups
• Support schedule, budget, and forecast tracking

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years of construction, field support, or administrative experience
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local job sites
• Flexibility to work extended hours during peak project phases

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of project support or Assistant Project Manager experience
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management software
• Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
