About the Role
Xray Technologist position in a healthcare organization providing specialized diagnostic imaging services in a fast‑paced environment. Requires expertise in fluoroscopy, C‑Arm procedures, and experience with EPIC electronic medical record systems. Assignment spans approximately 16 to 26 weeks with schedules that include days, weekends, and holiday rotations.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X‑ray imaging, including fluoroscopy and C‑Arm procedures
- Operate within EPIC electronic medical record system
- Float to other units as required
- Take call shifts as assigned
- Work a minimum of 2 out of 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day
- Maintain reliable transportation; vehicle must have all‑season or snow tires from November through April
Requirements
- ARRT certification
- Teaching facility experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- OR case, fluoroscopy, and C‑Arm experience
- EPIC electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years
- Reliable transportation with appropriate tires for winter conditions (Nov–Apr)
Schedule
- Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift
- Work pattern: Thursday or Friday through Saturday and Sunday
- Minimum 36 hours per week
- Bi‑weekly orientations on Mondays
- No block scheduling
- Holiday coverage required (minimum 2 of 4 major holidays)
