About the role

Travel Radiology Technologist position available in Louisville, Kentucky. This role involves performing general radiographic procedures in a busy hospital setting, including ortho, traumas, and portable imaging. The position supports inpatient, outpatient, ER, and OR patient types, with a focus on delivering quality imaging services in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

• Night shifts, 4 ten-hour shifts or 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
• Variable weekend rotation every third week
• 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiographic procedures, including ortho, traumas, and portable imaging
• Support imaging needs for inpatient, outpatient, ER, and OR patient types
• Float to ER, OR, and portable imaging throughout the hospital
• Use EMR systems (Cernero) and imaging equipment such as Shimadzu, Konica, Fuji, Carestream, GE, Phillips c-arms, and Medtronic O-arm

Requirements

• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Valid State license (KBMIRT)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience performing general x-ray procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• O-arm experience
• Operating room (OR) experience (can be supplemented with emergency room (ER) procedures)

Support & Orientation

• Front desk staff available Monday through Friday from 0700 to 1900
• Lead tech present daily for first shift
• Staff coverage across second and third shifts
• Support personnel include phlebotomists, IV/Volume Assurance Team, hospitalists, intensivists, and continuously available radiologic technologists
• 3-4 shifts of departmental orientation under clinical orientation program
• Scrub color: Ciel Blue
• Parking provided via free badge access lot
