About the role
Radiology Technologist position in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves providing imaging services across a busy teaching facility with a high acuity patient population, including trauma and pediatric cases. The technologist will work in various departments such as the emergency department, operating rooms, and main radiology suites, supporting a fast-paced clinical environment.
The department is equipped with Shimadzu RadSpeed general radiology room, Konica and Shimadzu portables, Philips C-arm, and GE O-arm. The schedule will follow a contractual 13-week cycle with the same shift consistent throughout. Orientation includes a facility and departmental tour, with up to five days for onboarding. Scrubs are provided if assigned to the operating room. Parking is free, and the department emphasizes teamwork and high clinical skill sets.
Schedule
- Days shift, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Provide imaging services in a high-acuity, fast-paced clinical environment
- Work across various departments including emergency, operating rooms, and main radiology suites
- Handle trauma and pediatric cases
Requirements
- BLS certification
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT)
- Valid state license
- At least 2 years of acute care experience with some trauma experience (Level I, II, or III)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
- C-arm imaging experience
- O-arm experience preferred
- Trauma experience
- Ability to work in a high-acuity setting
