Travel X-Ray Technologist - $2,815 per week

About the role

Travel Radiology Technologist position in Farmington, Connecticut. This role involves performing diagnostic radiology procedures, including orthopedic, general, and fluoroscopy exams. The candidate will work rotating evening shifts, with duties including working in surgery and various imaging units, and must be prepared for on-call responsibilities. The position is located at a 234-bed facility with three x-ray rooms, five portable units, and seven C-arm units including Ziehm and OEC 3D.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including orthopedic, general, and fluoroscopy exams
• Work in surgery and various imaging units
• Respond to on-call responsibilities within 30-60 minutes
• Operate GE, Phillips, and Siemens imaging equipment
• Work in multiple imaging environments including fluoroscopy, surgery, ED, ortho, and trauma
• Participate in float assignments and surgical settings as needed

Requirements

• Certification in American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Active CT radiologic technologist license (required before start date)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in diagnostic radiology
• Experience in operating room, fluoroscopy, and orthopedic imaging
• Proficiency with GE, Phillips, and Siemens equipment
• Prior travel experience
• Flexibility for float assignments and work in surgical settings

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with portable x-ray, trauma radiography, and neonate imaging
• Experience with electronic medical records (Epic)

Schedule

• Evening shifts, 8 hours per shift
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
• 13-week duration, starting 09/04/2026
• Orientation sessions scheduled every other Friday

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
