The role involves ensuring patient safety, configuring equipment, and producing high-quality images while maintaining protocols for radiation protection. This position offers the opportunity to assist in patient care and educational initiatives within a healthcare facility. Job Details Shift Schedule: Evenings, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week. Start times generally range from noon to 2:00 PM. Required Qualifications: ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) registration; current Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare providers; at least 1 year of experience. Preferred Qualifications: Personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter). Responsibilities include proper patient identification, exam preparation, patient communication, quality imaging, radiation safety practices, sterile technique for invasive procedures, emergent patient response, accurate documentation, and maintaining a clean environment. The role involves assisting and instructing students and other technologists in exam procedures, positioning, and equipment use. Physical requirements include carrying, hearing/listening, lifting, manual dexterity, pushing/pulling, seeing, speaking, standing, and walking. Experience in trauma settings is strongly preferred.
