Travel X-Ray Technologist - $2,377 per week

About the Role

American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist for a 900-bed facility in Morristown, New Jersey. This role requires at least 18 months of experience and the ability to work independently in a busy Radiology department.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging and treatment procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Maintain equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Monitor and coordinate daily imaging procedures, recommending revisions as needed.
• Work in the OR setting and use GE imaging equipment.
• Utilize the EPIC charting system.
• Potential to float to a sister hospital nearby.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months to 3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• NJ State RT License required if applicable.
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume setting.
• Strong knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with current trends in clinical practice and healthcare informatics.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Schedule

AM shift, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 5 days per week, 37.5 hours weekly. Schedule includes every other weekend and on-call responsibilities.

• Travelers may stay on assignment up to one calendar year from the initial start date before requiring a break.
