Travel X-ray Technologist - $2,375 per week

Job Summary

X-ray Technologist position located in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves supporting various radiology procedures with proficiency in Siemens general radiography equipment, Carestream portable units, OEC C-arms, and Medtronic O-arm systems. The candidate must have operating room experience, including with C-arms and O-arms, and be capable of supporting all areas of radiology such as plain film imaging, operating room exams, and portable exams. The role is scheduled for night shifts with a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on August 17, 2026.

Job Details

• Shift Schedule: Nights, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting 08/17/2026

Required Qualifications

• 24 months of current X-ray experience (hospital/medical center experience prioritized)
• Experience using Siemens fixed equipment, Carestream portable units, GE OEC C-arms, and EPIC electronic medical record system
• Must have current/recent operating room experience supporting all age groups, with highly preferred Level I trauma and pediatric experience
• Active Iowa radiology license is highly preferred; candidates with attestation to apply are acceptable with a 1-3 week turnaround
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association are required
• Level I trauma experience, pediatric experience, and active Iowa license are preferred

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
